The animation is astonishing how it captures the graceful movements of an ice skater dancing on the ice. While the character ice skates the camera moves along with the character doing well to frame him, moving him from one side to the other depending on his direction of travel (e.g. when he moves to the right the camera allows him to fill in the right side of the frame). This gives a sense of how big the area in which he is ice skating is as well as how he moves towards and away from the camera which also gives no need for zooming in.
Ice skating aren't the only movements presented in the trailer but the movements of other characters doing stretches or practicing his movements while off the ice. Towards the end it shows one of the characters tying his shoelaces on his ice skates which isn't so simply animated. It shows every detail of tying the two laces together, exchanging laces between his two hands, the laces flop around to give the sense of the weight of actual shoelaces and his foot presses down to provide pressure to tie the laces tightly.
